Ceramist Brushes
Our new 17B Brushes, pictured above, are the very finest Ceramist Brushes
available today. Their shorter hair, 3/4 the length of our 17A, provides a tip
that is remarkably firm. The tip's firmness can also be attributed to a special
'dressing process' applied to the Pure Red Sable hair. The response to this
brush, so far, is quite amazing.
These brushes are ideal for sculpturing teeth by ceramic buildup and layering.
A wide range of sizes includes 0 and 000 for staining and veneering, 1 through
4 for small-brush buildup techniques, and 5 through 8 for big-brush buildup
techniques.

Kolinsky hair possesses great pointing and snapping ability and has been the
'standard' for fine ceramist brushes for some time. However, Kolinsky hair is
soft and doesn't provide as much tip support as fine Red Sable hair.
Our Series 1 Finest Kolinsky Rounds are used by thousands of fine artists, and
are also preferred by many ceramists as well.

Our Series 7 Finest Kolinsky Designers are like our Series 1 Rounds, but have
a slightly longer hair length. The longer hair provides a larger reservoir, and also
is a bit more more flexible.
